Chemical refining is a special method often used for the purification of elements. The system, which offers the advantages of low operation time, and high purification, is widely used in chemical processes. The system is a completely hydrometallurgical treatment and it works with acid, the liquid transfer is provided by vacuuming. It is used in the e-waste facility of Proses Makina for the purpose of separating and purifying precious metals coming from electrolysis one by one in chemical operation.
All of the precious metals can be recovered separately. Scrubbers are integrated into the system due to the acid. So toxic gases do not come out. Proses Makina’s refining system makes it possible to recover precious metals such as gold, silver, and palladium in high purity, depending on the quality of the material used.
